The conference has become iconic for worldwide participation of the Nanotechnolpogists and Polymer Scientists in Nepal with the themes Naono and Bio and with the motto ‘Crosslinking Science with Virtues’

❖ Organization of triannual International Conference  on Infectious Diseases and Nanomedicine (ICIDN) (Dec. 15-18)

• 1st International Conference ICIDN 2012, Dec. 15-18, 2012 in Kathmandu
• 2nd International Conference ICIDN 2015, Dec. 15-18, 2015 in Kathmandu
• 3rd International Conference ICIDN 2019, Dec. 15-18, 2019 in Kathmandu

Youth Targeted Programs

All the activities of the NPI are targeted to youths and young scientists. Some of them are listed below:

❖ Kathmandu Autumn School on Chemistry and Chemical Technologies (KASChem)

This program is being organized regularly every year on the given topic, closely matching with the dates of KaSAM conference when the international experts are available for giving lectures on modern trends in chemistry and chemical technologies. The third KASChem was organized in Kathmandu in Oct 2018.

❖ Microsymposium on Applied Sciences; there have been already 7 such symposia organized in the past. The program of the 7th Symposium is attached herewith.

❖ 6th Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (ÀPCYS) was organized by NPI in Kathmandu on Nov. 1-5, 2017 in Kathmandu.

❖  Young Scientist Summit (YSS) is the regular activity of the NPI. Recently 3rd YSS is being organized in Kathmandu from Nov. 17 to Nov 18, 2018. The YSS selects the Young Scientists for several international competitions including Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (ÀPCYS)

❖     The Chemistry Olympiad is the initiative, the NPI is initiating in near future.
