Young Scientists Summit (YSS) 2025
The Young Scientists Summit is Nepal Polymer Institute's flagship program designed to inspire and nurture the next generation of scientific minds. This comprehensive initiative brings together talented school and college students from across Nepal to participate in competitions, workshops, and mentorship programs.
Program Objectives
Our YSS program aims to cultivate scientific curiosity, promote research culture among youth, and provide platforms for young minds to showcase their innovative ideas. We focus on building bridges between academic excellence and practical applications in science and technology.
Competition Categories
- Science Project Competition: Open to school students (grades 9-12)
- Research Poster Presentation: For undergraduate students
- Innovation Challenge: Entrepreneurship-focused projects
- Science Quiz Competition: Test of scientific knowledge and quick thinking
Workshops & Seminars
Participants will engage in hands-on workshops covering modern laboratory techniques, research methodology, and scientific writing. Expert sessions on career guidance and higher education opportunities will help students plan their academic journey.
Awards & Recognition
Best paper awards, young researcher recognition, and excellence in poster presentation certificates will be awarded to outstanding contributions.
